NowThis News Redesign

NowThis News is a media company which primarily distributes video news content to mobile devices and social platforms. In the Fall of 2016, they became a part of the Group Nine brand family without a formal website. As the Experience Lead at Group Nine Media, I led the talented team of designers to create the NowThis responsive web experience. We were starting from the ground up, because the current experience at the time was a single page site that prompted users to visit their brand on social media channels (shown below).

We needed to create a website experience that put content first and really allowed the brand to have creative freedom with their content. We also needed to use the same backend technology that powered the rest of the brand websites underneath the Group Nine parent brand.
